Hello! I'm Jenn Ciplet, a photographer based in Lafayette, Fort Collins, and Denver, Colorado.
My photography centers on people and capturing the beauty of our everyday lives. I use natural light and my photographs evoke a playful, authentic, unscripted spirit. My interest is in capturing beautiful moments of real life being lived, just as it is.
I have taken classes from New York photographer Thea Coughlin and studied closely with Boston-area photographer and my dear friend Tara Morris. My organic style reflects their teaching. I collaborate with Tara Morris to coordinate some of The Love Offensive yoga and photography retreats she facilitates around the world. I worked with Stasia Savasuk to photograph her Beach, Bodies and Bikini retreat in Akumal, Mexico.
Photography fills me and fuels me - it's a gift to pursue it in every way that I can.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me practicing yoga, exploring new breweries and restaurants across the Front Range, making stuff on my sewing machine, hanging out with girlfriends, traveling with my boyfriend Nate to new and interesting places (as much as I possibly can!), and goofing around with my kids. I am also the Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer for Avail Divorce and a Certified Divorce Coach. Let's connect!
Pricing
Families
50 minute session at your home or local location of your choice (such as a favorite park or playground) for 1-4 family members: $400
Each additional family member: $20 each
Includes 20-30 high resolution digital images.
Day in the Life
One of my favorite ways to photograph families and people is with documentary-style "day in the life" shoot. For a full shoot, I would arrive first thing in the morning before everyone is awake to get those dreamy, still-half-asleep shots of your kids - you know, the ones you'll always want to have and remember. I will spend a whole day with your family - photographing breakfast, putting dishes in the dishwasher, going to a kids' sports game or class, having dinner, brushing teeth at bedtime...
I also offer partial "day in the life" shoots, where I spend either a morning, afternoon or evening documenting the flow and life of your family.
Day in the life sessions are priced on a case-by-case basis, starting at $500 for a partial day session. Please contact me at 510-846-5018 to discuss further.
Weddings
I am new to wedding photography, but my customers have been very happy with the results! My wedding photography reflects my overall style and approach: using natural light, capturing authentic moments.
Since I'm new, my pricing is affordable. I would LOVE to photograph your wedding!

Professional Headshots
Y'all, get yourselves some professional headshots. No one wants to see a blurry photo of you in the dark with your cat on Linkedin, much less on Tinder.
I offer 30 minute professional headshot sessions at your home or local location of your choice (such as at work) for 1 person: $200
You will receive 5-7 images.
Travel & Lifestyle
I LOVE travel and lifestyle photography!
In terms of travel... you're invited to come with me and learn from me and my photography mentor and dear friend, Tara Morris, on a Destination Love Offensive trip! Past trips have included yoga and photography retreats in Nicaragua, New Orleans, Alaska, Cuba, Mexico and Guatemala.
I am also available for business or lifestyle shoots for companies, non-profits, and entrepreneurs.

A NOTE FOR ALL PHOTO SESSIONS:
For travel to locations outside of Denver's RiNo District, Fort Collins, and Boulder County I will add a travel charge based on the travel distance.
Each price includes access to a private link of your high-resolution digital photographs, where you can download or print the photos as you wish. You will receive 15-30 photos for a Family shoot, and 7-10 photos for a Professional Headshot shoot. Wedding and Day in the Life customers will receive more photographs, depending on our custom agreement. Turnaround time for photos is 3-4 weeks. Rush arrangements can usually be made for an additional fee.
For professional quality prints, I can recommend places for you to get your prints made. Price includes the high resolution digital files only and does not include the cost of the prints.
